Anti-Ragging
A zero-tolerance policy — creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful campus environment for all.
Zero tolerance. Full confidentiality.
PESIMSR is committed to a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for every student. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited on campus and in associated facilities, in line with UGC and NMC guidelines.
Any act that…
Ragging is defined broadly — not just physical acts, but anything that disrupts a student's wellbeing or freedom on campus.
Harms or abuses a student physically or mentally
Humiliates or intimidates a student
Disrupts academic or personal life
Forces a student to perform actions against their will
Our Commitment
A committee that actually watches
PESIMSR maintains a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad that regularly monitors student interactions across hostels, classrooms and common areas, and ensures compliance with anti-ragging regulations set by the UGC and NMC.
Awareness programmes and orientation sessions run through the year to make sure every incoming student understands both their rights and their responsibilities from day one.
