Support & Guidance
Anti-ragging committee, students' charter, academic mentors, and a confidential grievance process.
Someone to talk to, every step of the way.
A dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee, a published Students' Charter, academic mentors and an on-campus health centre — PESIMSR's support systems exist so no student is navigating a hard year alone.
Support systems on campus
Formal committees and everyday guidance, working together to keep the campus safe and every student's concerns heard.

A dedicated committee and squad that monitors student interactions and responds to any report of ragging in confidence.

A published charter of student rights and a formal grievance redressal process for academic or administrative concerns.

On-campus first aid and basic medical care for students, with direct referral into the attached teaching hospital.

Faculty apartments on campus keep mentors within reach for academic guidance well beyond scheduled class hours.
Raising a Concern
How the process works
Every concern — academic, administrative or personal safety — follows a clear, confidential path.
Speak to a mentor or warden first
Most day-to-day concerns are resolved directly with a faculty mentor, hostel warden, or department head.
Submit a written complaint if needed
Formal concerns can be raised in writing to the relevant committee — academic, anti-ragging, or grievance redressal.
Confidential committee review
Complaints are reviewed by the appropriate committee, with confidentiality maintained throughout.
Resolution & follow-up
Students are informed of the outcome, with follow-up support available if further action is required.
Anti-Ragging Helpline
PESIMSR maintains a zero-tolerance policy on ragging, in line with UGC and NMC guidelines. Reach out immediately if you or someone you know is affected.
