Anti-Ragging

At PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PESIMSR), we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited on campus and in associated facilities.

We adhere to the guidelines laid down by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Medical Commission (NMC) to prevent and address incidents of ragging. Any violation will be dealt with seriously, including disciplinary action and legal consequences.

What Constitutes Ragging?

Ragging includes any act that:

  • Harms or abuses a student physically or mentally
  • Humiliates or intimidates a student
  • Disrupts academic or personal life
  • Forces a student to perform actions against their will

Our Commitment
